*A minority business enterprise is defined as a company which is at least: (1) 51% owned, managed, or controlled by women, or by members of one or more minority groups, e.g., African-Americans, Hispanics, Asians or Pacific Islanders, or Native Americans and (2) more than 50 percent of the net profit or loss accrues to one or more minority individuals.
